Privacy Policy
My Meta Page is a small link-in-bio service. This page lists everything it stores and why. The short version: only what the product needs, nothing is sold, and deleting your account removes your data immediately.
What we store
- Account: your username, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and your display name.
- Optional: a bio, a recovery email, and a hashed recovery code, only if you add them in Settings.
- Your page: the links, labels, groups, and theme you set up.
- Counters: timestamps of page views and link clicks on your public page, so your Stats tab works. No visitor identity is recorded with them.
- Abuse protection: IP addresses from sign-ins and sign-ups, kept briefly for rate limiting and then deleted by routine cleanup.
Cookies
One session cookie, only to keep you signed in. No analytics or advertising cookies.
Third parties
- Cloudflare hosts the service and the database.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits on our own pages (home, sign-in, about, this page) without cookies, localStorage, or fingerprinting. It is never loaded on user profile pages, so your visitors are not tracked by any third party.
- Resend delivers password-reset emails to the address you saved.
- DuckDuckGo's icon service is fetched by our server to show favicons next to links.
- qrserver.com renders the QR code on your private Share page; your page URL is part of that image request.
Nothing else. No ad networks, no cross-site trackers, and your data is never sold or shared for marketing.
Public by design
Your profile page (mymeta.page/yourname) is public and may be indexed by search engines. Only put things there that you want to share.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete account removes your account, links, and counters immediately. There is no retention period and no backup restore of deleted accounts on request.
